MEDICA 2008 in Duesseldorf, Germany

Thank you to our national and international guests for the overwhelming amount of interest we received from visitors at this year’s MEDICA. We were delighted to answer all your questions about our RIS/PACS technologies and to demonstrate our latest solutions on the workstations.

The 7th International Medical Fair Asia took place at Suntec convention centre in Singapore.
medavis was participating at this event for the first time.
We were overwhelmed by the spontaneous enthusiasm for our products by the many visitors.

For the very first time medavis took part at the most important international Trade Fair for hospital equipment in
South America this year. This was personally opened by the Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in Sao Paulo.

medavis was able to present its product portfolio to a great number of professional visitors and thereby made valuable
contacts during its first attendance at the exhibition.

89th German Congress of Radiology - Thank you for your visit

We were able to present some of our new developments: medavis MPI, the latest version of medavis PACS and medavis SMS, for which there was a particularly high demand.

"medavis SMS offers our customers a convenient service for reminding their patients of upcoming appointments. Through the full automation and high deliverability of SMS messages, both our customers and their patients benefit equally. The SMS reminder reduces the chances
of forgotten appointments and the modalities can be used as planned. On the other hand, patients enjoy a higher level of service as important information such as "please attend with
an empty stomach" can be communicated at the same time. In our customer's radiology clinics, missed appointments will be a thing of the past," reports Elmar Kussmaul, managing director, medavis GmbH.

8th Central - European Symposium (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina)

The Central-European Symposium for Radiographers and Radiological Technologists attracted more than 360 experts
from 11 countries this year.

IHE Connectathon 2008 in Oxford, UK

This year the IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) initiative carried out the 8th European IHE Connectathon
on the 7th to the 11th of April 2008. The event was hosted by the British IHE work group at St. Catherine's College, Oxford.

The Connectathon (a term combining connection and marathon) is an annual event of the IHE initiative, inviting healthcare
IT companies to attend with the aim of reaching the highest level of interoperability between IT systems, through a systematic
use of standards like HL7 and DICOM.

medavis also attended the Connectathon again this year, contributing its wide product and interface portfolio and confidently
passing all tests.
