International Healthcare Conference and Exhibition, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

medavis participated in the APHM International Healthcare Exhibition 2009 from 21st to 23rd July in Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition was organized by APHM (Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia), an association that was established in 1972 and is dedicated to developing healthcare standards. This year's event was entitled "Applying Best Practices in Healthcare Delivery" and target audience were directors of private, state-owned hospitals, private practices and other healthcare operators.

medavis RIS/PACS System received a lot of attention from the experts, who were very positive about the product demonstrations and features. Witnessed by a great number of visitors, both in terms of quantity and quality. Majority of the booth visitors during this exhibition were from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and India. Thank you all for your keen interest in medavis products.

International Partner Training

The medavis international partner training event was held in July 2009, in Pattaya, Thailand.

Twelve partnering companies from Europe, the Middle East and Asia successfully participated and all emphasised how extremely useful the training was for the individual national representatives. In an intensive one week training  course the participants where updated about the latest and upcoming developments in medavis' fast evolving and expanding medical software solutions.

All participants were unanimous in stating how greatly they had benefited from this event and their keen interest in taking part in future medavis partner training sessions.

Thanks for all your interest at the Symposium of Radiographers of Serbia in Soko Banja

As general sponsor of the Radiographers Symposium of Serbia, 18th -20st June 2009, medavis had the honour of presenting its RIS and PACS systems during a 45 minute lecture on Saturday, June 19th, in front of more than 250 symposium participants from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy and at the medavis booth.

Due to huge amount of interest from the radiologists and radiographers present, the medavis team organised a Teleradiology workshop on Saturday from 1 pm to 3 pm. Here, the participants could see practical applications of the medavis teleradiology solution and get all relevant technical and other information related to medavis workflow and authorisation issues.

90th German Radiology Congress, 20th - 23rd May 2009, Berlin

Record visitor numbers for medavis at the DRK 2009

Once again, medavis presented the complete solutions spectrum for radiology, based on medavis RIS and medavis PACS, at the 90th German Radiology Congress (DRK) in Berlin this year. Many new functions and modules were also introduced, including the „Medical Documentation“ software module, which enables radiologists to maximise their quality control by documenting all their patient’s medical information and viewing it at a glance.

Many customers and interested parties took the opportunity to inform themselves about the efficient and flexible software solutions for radiology in person, resulting in a record number of visitors to the medavis booth.
