medavis headquarters in a buzz! The week-long partner qualification in Karlsruhe

In the week from 07- 11/6/2010, medavis were delighted to welcome representatives from EU countries, Turkey and the Middle East to the company’s headquarters in Karlsruhe, Germany.

The busy training week began with a friendly warm-up session, followed by an introduction to the many new developments and products in the medavis product range.

Here, our guests became acquainted with the new Server-Monitoring application and the medavis Update Center. The Server-Monitoring application enables us to proactively monitor both local and remote servers. The Update Center, on the other hand, is an in-house platform for the simple and safe distribution of software and documentation to customers. Another recent addition is WEB 4, a new Web platform for intersectional cross-enterprise clinical workflows. Amongst the latest developments, the guest’s attention was particularly attracted by the live demo of the integrated speech recognition function. 

The focus of the following two days was the subject of sales, complemented by the invaluable experiences of our partners in their own countries. Our midweek barbecue on the banks of the Rhine unexpectedly turned into a little adventure for both guests and medavis staff. What began as a sunny barbecue, ended up with us taking refuge in a converted double-decker bus, after a raging thunderstorm and torrential downpour. Soaked but happy, we said our goodbyes, firm in the knowledge that we would remember this evening for a long time.   

The week ended with two days of technical training, using numerous practical exercises to aid the understanding of the new additions. Finally, all participants gladly received their well-deserved certificates, confirming their status as certified medavis partners. We thank all of our guests for their visit and their huge level of commitment during the training week.  Meeting our partners has been an extremely valuable experience for us and we are already looking forward to our next meeting.
