The new medavis DICOM Importer Pro connects your image sources like Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Scanners or Cameras so that this image data is directly transferred into your archive. Have extra benefits from your PACS:

• Ultrasound and Endoscopy
  Freeze your images in the ultrasound device, create your measurements and overlays and then store them with just a push on the foot pedal to your central archive. Patient identification and study description are fully provided by the medavis DICOM Importer so that there is no need to type in this kind of information into your Ultrasound device
• Document Scan
  Scan any document, for example refferal letters or dismission reports and easily link them to a patient record and store them in DICOM format into your archive
• Camera
  Take pictures of your patients for identification or to document the treatment process. Pick the corresponding examination from a list and archive them with just 2 mouse clicks
• CD, DVD etc.
  Store and use DICOM data from CD or any other media in your archive. A comprehensive image preview gives you an overview and easy choice of what to actually put into your archive. Alternatively, you can use the built-in quick import to directly store all data from a medium - no selection process is required.

In order to have patient data at your disposal, the medavis DICOM Importer Pro combines image data with patient and examination data. This can be carried out directly during the import via DICOM Worklist or by manual correction.
