medavis External Transcription Service

The External Transcription module enables the physician to transfer his digitally recorded report dictations or any other text to an office service that is located outside the practice or hospital.

The voice files and text documents are collected by RIS and saved via an export function on an exchangeable data medium or transferred by data line.

The Transcription Service can now import these files into their local work list. The digital dictations sent can be written in a text template. These in turn are transferred by medium or data line.

The typist can then work comfortably at home (home office), for example. Text documents to be typed are transferred per data line and these are returned without any time delay.

These documents are imported in RIS at the press of a button and integrated into the usual RIS workflow.

This integrates typists into the workflow, regardless of location, without your having to adapt your normal procedures.
