St. Luke's Hospital in Tarnów, Poland, successfully operates medavis RIS in full integration with HIS and PACS since September 2011.

In May 2008, the newly constructed hospital was completed with the radiotherapy and the oncology department. The hospital is equipped with 650 beds in 20 departments, which makes it one of the most important health care institutions in the region. 250 examinations of various kinds are carried out in this hospital  every day. The city of Tarnów is located in the south-east of Poland and has 115,000 inhabitants. It is an important industry center specialized in chemistry, engineering and construction.

The newly built private orthopaedic hospital St. Katarina in Zabok, Croatia, has been the largest investment into the private health sector in Croatia to date. The clinic is committed to provide exceptional orthopaedic care through innovative technology under the aspect of cost effectiveness.

Clinic Chain Medikol connected by medavis RIS

The polyclinic Medikol is the major private clinic chain in Croatia. Founded in 1994, it is nationwide the leading chain in radiological and nuclear medical diagnostics with clinics and PET/CT centers at seven locations.

Within six month, the medavis RIS was introduced at five Medikol sites. Its implementation started at the PET/CT centers in Rijeka, Split, Zagreb and was followed by the Clinics Medikol Zagreb and Medikol Cakovec. Beyond its application in radiology, the medavis RIS enables cross-hospital data transfer between remote radiological departments. The data transfer is secure and fast though, following the highest international communication and security standards.

The medavis RIS implementation as the central radiology information system for the entire Medikol chain, including the Clinics and PET/CT Center in Osijek and the future Hospital Center Medikol, will follow soon and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The University Hospital Dubrava in Zagreb, Croatia, is the most modern and also most recent university clinic in the country.

The 600 bed clinic nowadays is one of the leading clinics nationwide, working in cooperation with the University of Zagreb in the fields of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy.

medavis RIS has been successfully integrated into the HIS in January 2011.
