New project in Poland - medavis launches into mobile diagnostic imaging

Alliance Medical Group is the European market leader in flexible services for mobile diagnostic imaging with more than 500 mobile and local sites. It operates the largest fleet of mobile MRI, PET/CT, X-ray, CT, portable ultrasound and echocardiography scanners in the UK and employs over 400 radiographers. Although based in the UK, Alliance Medical has subsidiary offices in Ireland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.

The highly flexible application and the modularity of the software convinced Alliance Medical Poland to select medavis, from within a highly competitive environment, for the equipping of diagnostic radiology trucks. As this is the first time medavis radiology software has been used in mobile modalities, it represents a step into a new and future-orientated market segment. The project is due to start in March 2010.
