Thanks to our deep AI integration, radiologists receive real-time AI status updates directly in the RIS worklist and patient overview. They can also adjust and validate AI results right in the viewer, provided the viewer in use supports this functionality. The results — including measurements, tables, and images — can then be seamlessly incorporated into the final report.
Real-time AI Status in the RIS Worklist
AI results from integrated AI vendors and platforms are delivered directly into the medavis RIS — as status notifications in the worklist, in the Diagnostic Patient Center (DPC) under AI Results, and as an AI sheet. Always in real time, structured, and clearly organized.
AI results are displayed with key attributes such as: the registration state, preliminary and final results (status), automatic highlighting of critical findings (alerts), and the clinical relevance of results based on urgency (priority). This information is incorporated into both the worklist and the patient overview at physician workstations, enabling a fast and well-founded initial assessment — especially valuable during on-call and night shifts. In the DPC under AI Results, you can view all previous AI results from AI applications for a given patient and, if needed, navigate directly to prior examinations.
Adjusting AI Results in the Viewer
If your AI application uses a compatible viewer, radiologists can access AI results directly within it. This allows AI findings to be reviewed, adjusted, and validated with just one click — for example, directly in the MedDream Viewer.
Measurements can be visualized right in the viewer, including graphical markers on the relevant image slices. Once approved, the values are automatically transferred into the RIS report — thanks to seamless AI integration within the medavis RIS.
Transferring AI Results into RIS Report
AI results — including all measurements, tables, and, if applicable, images — can be inserted into the radiology report via voice command or with just one click. This ensures a fast, structured process with full traceability.
The integration uses the RTF report provided by the AI vendor. Depending on the AI application, this report may include numerical or graphical findings generated by the AI, annotated key images, and relevant text. This ensures that physicians and patients can always clearly see which content was suggested and incorporated by the AI.
