PATIENT DATA ACCESS

The RIS module PATIENT DATA ACCESS enables you to protect sensitive electronic patient details against unauthorised access. You control which RIS user can access which patient details and minimise the risk of abuse of patient details.
In this way you can protect the details of VIP patients and the examination results of co-workers or colleagues against unauthorised access.
Sometimes, patients call in order to request the deletion of their details for data protection reasons. As you cannot fully comply with this request due to the legal documentation obligations, you can at least ensure the maximal personality right of your patients with the module PATIENT DATA ACCESS.

The medavis RIS module PATIENT DATA ACCESS is available in two variants:

BASIC

Offers access groups for protecting VIP patients, employees and for the “deletion upon patient request”.
Patients can be managed in the system without restrictions and assigned dedicatedly to one or more groups (1:n assignment)
Users can be assigned to any number of access groups (1:n assignment)
No restriction for STATISTICS (NOTE: Generally,
only employees with administrative functions should have access to this area)

ADVANCED

Prerequisites: PATIENT DATA ACCESS BASIC
Additional advantage: Patient access can be configured

Supports 15 additional access groups
Patients can be managed in the system without restrictions and assigned dedicatedly to one or more groups (1:n assignment)
Users can be assigned to any number of access groups (1:n assignment)
Protected appointments are displayed only as placeholders with the note “Restricted patient access rights”
No restriction for STATISTICS (NOTE: Generally,
only employees with administrative functions should have access to this area)
