With RIS and the web portals, medavis offers well thought-out, holistic solutions that interlock seamlessly. Due to the deep integration, there are no frictional losses. The online appointment booking and the portal solutions are not only ideally networked with each other via the common platform, but also integrate perfectly into medavis RIS.
In radiology, no data has to be maintained twice or transferred manually. Online appointments appear in the RIS calendar in real time. Data from the referral slip, which can be uploaded when the appointment is booked, ends up directly in RIS. Appointment confirmations and reminders are sent in the background, and images and findings are automatically transferred to the portal. Referring physicians can view their patients’ data in the portal and simultaneously book appointments for them in the radiology department, if required.

Successful pentests by independent third parties have once again confirmed that the medavis web applications booking4med and portal4med meet the highest security standards. Our solutions are PCI DSS compliant and thus offer you maximum security when processing patient data.
Patient Portal
The portal4med Patient Portal enables patients to access their own radiology images and reports online and to make them available to treating physicians quickly and easily. Patients themselves decide who can view the data. The advantage for you in the radiology department: The portal eliminates the costly and time-consuming burning of patient CDs. You work more economically and more sustainably.
Referrer Portal
Following the examination, referring physicians also benefit from direct access to reports and imaging of their patients created in your radiology department via the portal4med Referrer Portal; rapid, secure and without media disruption or need for separate installation. Referrers are notified via e-mail about new report releases and can share findings and studies securely and easily with colleagues or patients.
Online Appointment Booking
Thanks to our booking4med appointment booking solution, patients and referring physicians have the possibility to book appointments online at any time. Hosted in Germany, the solution optimally complements telephone appointment booking and relieves the staff at your registration desk. Patient data is handled according to the highest security standards. Moreover, patient information is not stored on the internet or in third-party systems.
