The medavis Group Expands its Management Team and Sets the Course for Further Growth

The new and distinctively positioned group, consisting of medavis GmbH headquartered in Karlsruhe, Digithurst GmbH & Co. KG located in Büchenbach, and epiNET GmbH based in Bochum, has strengthened and expanded its group management.

Thomas Simon, a highly experienced manager in the healthcare IT sector, has been recruited as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Simon managed software businesses for inpatient healthcare facilities in the DACH region and held other management positions with a focus on service and growth in healthcare IT.

As part of the Group’s plans for continuous growth and new developments, the positions of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO) were created and filled by long-standing managers from within the Group. The position of CRO has been assigned to Jürgen Roth, a highly accomplished sales manager. Michael Mauer, an undisputed expert in workflow solutions, has taken over the position of CPO with immediate effect.

Thanks to the new strategic positioning of our management team, we are ideally equipped for the future,” Elmar Kußmaul and Jörg Dittrich, founders of medavis, state. The founders and current CEOs will join the Group’s advisory board following a familiarization phase.

As far as future prospects are concerned, the new CEO, Thomas Simon, is confident: “Together with the medavis Group, we will continue to drive forward the digitization of workflow solutions in an even bolder and more agile way.” Jürgen Roth adds: “Enthusiastic users and sustainable growth, both domestically and internationally, are our mutual goals.” “The medavis Group will distinguish itself with cutting-edge products, whether they are cloud-based or on-premises,” Michael Mauer concludes with conviction.
