IHE Connectathon – test track for optimal interoperability

The Connectathon is an international event organised by the IHE with the support of various partners, such as the German Radiological Society. Every year, such Connectathons take place in Europe, North America and Asia.

The event is used by IT and medical system manufacturers to test the interoperability of their solutions with each other as well as with hospital users according to the same standards. This ensures that different systems later communicate optimally in practice.

The Connectathon provides an overview of interoperability and compliance with the IHE profiles. Vendors have a unique opportunity to assess the connectivity of their solutions and address interoperability limitations. By participating, providers demonstrate their commitment to the IHE standards.
