Update of the medavis portal solutions
Deep integration into the radiology workflow with extended functionalities in portal4med
At the center of medavis’ radiology workflow solutions is medavis RIS, which has been one of the most mature and innovative solutions on the market for years. In addition, the German software provider offers a comprehensive portfolio of web applications that ideally complement digital workflows in radiology and enable cross-site networking and communication with radiologists, referring physicians and patients.
Central platform for web applications
With the latest update, medavis has completely technically rebuilt the central platform through which all web applications are connected. In addition to a new user interface, this brings improved display and operation on any device as well as a uniform administration with numerous configuration options. Users work even more intuitively, securely and with better performance. At the same time, the closer integration of the portal solutions with each other and with medavis RIS ensures a noticeable improvement of radiology processes. More and more medavis users are taking advantage of the benefits of optimal and smooth workflows from start to finish.
Highlight: Patient history in the patient portal
A central component among the web applications is the portal4med patient and referrer portal, whose range of functions has again been expanded in the new version. The highlight is the new patient record in the portal. With a single access ticket, patients can view the history of their own radiological reports and studies online at any time. Alternatively, the radiology department can issue tickets for the current case only. In both cases, the tickets are issued directly at the registration desk without any additional effort and are handed over to the patients either by e-mail or as a printout. Data access is simple and secure via the ticket data and an additional second factor. Patients decide for themselves at any time whether to give other treating physicians access to their data.
