With valid data and an intelligent software solution you can identify problems, spot trends and generate statistical reports. In this way you create a stable basis for deriving fact-based decisions.
The requirements for an analysis tool vary from institution to institution. Do you work together with external consultants? Do your internal structures require a selective permission system? Do you need queries directly from your database? medavis has therefore developed various modules to meet the individual needs of all users.
Predefined statistics with medavis Statistics Business
With Statistics Business, medavis supports you in the analysis of all data of your imaging center. The basic module provides you with 450 predefined statistics, the scope of which is constantly being expanded. For example, you can analyze your material usage or the number of outstanding reports.
All statistics can be accessed without database knowledge. Detailed listings, simple cumulations and comparison conversions are available for this purpose. The analyses are divided into easy-to-understand categories that reflect the entire workflow of your institution. In addition, you can also export your data as Excel or CSV files for further processing in your own spreadsheet or statistics programs.
Customize your statistics flexibly with medavis Statistics Pro
With Statistics Pro you have the possibility to extend the delivered statistics of the basic module independently. SQL knowledge is not required. Simply copy an existing statistic and add additional columns to it individually.
Control the access to your data with Statistics Pro as an extension of the basic module. Give access permissions for your RIS users to single statistics or whole categories. In this way, your employees only have access to analyses that are necessary for their work.
You can also send individual statistics by e-mail. Both one-time dispatch and automated reporting intervals are possible. The big advantage: You can send statistics to external service providers without giving them access to all your data.
Evaluations directly from the database with db_direct
db_direct grants you read access to your RIS database in order to flexibly create your own analyses. The focus is primarily on transaction data, i.e. data with a concrete patient and examination reference and the associated master data.
The query is performed using views, a representation of your database tables that is optimized for analysis. This stands between the data of your RIS database and you as user. The query via views offers you an additional safeguard for your analysis. If you change the database, your previously created statistics will not be lost.
Connect the analysis software of your choice (such as CrystalReports, QlikView or MSExcel) to db_direct via the ODBC interface to evaluate your data. db_direct is an ideal tool for cooperation with external IT and financial service providers.
Live Reports with cockpit4med
The medavis web application cockpit4med enables you to manage your radiological workflow quickly and effectively by providing you with important information in real time and preparing it graphically independent of the device. This enables you to make decisions immediately based on facts and to manage your practice economically and quality-oriented. Different user groups, such as registration staff, radiological technicians or physicians, can define their own compilation of relevant data in individual dashboards. These serve as support in controlling the various work areas.
In addition to medavis RIS data, information can also be retrieved from the medavis portal4med Referral Portal. All live data is available to you at any time, regardless of location, via any web browser. cockpit4med can be accessed with mobile devices and therefore offers the best possible flexibility for everyday business in your imaging center.
