medavis Online Appointment Booking
now also available for Referring Physicians

With booking4med, the appointment booking solution from medavis, radiologists offer their patients the possibility to make appointments online around the clock. Hosted in Germany, the solution optimally complements telephone appointment booking and relieves the registration staff in the imaging center. Online bookings are automatically mapped in the medavis RIS appointment calendar. No patient data is stored on the internet or in third-party systems.

With the latest update, the range of functions has been significantly expanded. Radiologists can now also define exclusive appointment slots for their referring physicians. Referrers receive their own password-protected access to booking4med, with which they can conveniently make appointments for their patients in the imaging center. The booking process also takes urgency and GP referral cases into account. This information is transferred directly to RIS, so that the cases are automatically billed there accordingly.

In addition, booking4med is now available in more languages, potentially reaching more patients. Radiologists can request all the important information about the examination in the languages relevant to their patient group when booking online, or they can display notes. When the patient then arrives for the appointment, they can be admitted more quickly because all the information has already been provided in advance.

Another highlight is the sending of fully automatic appointment confirmations and reminders by e-mail or SMS. This significantly reduces the number of missed appointments and improves service and convenience for patients.
